LOCAL FREEMASONS DONATE TO THE HEATH STROKE CLUB

The sum of Ł1000 has been awarded by the Provincial Grand Master's Fund Committee, for the benefit of the Heath Stroke Club in Halifax. This will be matched by monies raised at the De Warren Lodge.

The Heath Stroke Club will be using this money to create a garden area for it's clients together with suitable outdoor furnishings. This will greatly enhance the service that the Club provides to stroke victims, particularly during the summer months.

FREEMASONS DONATE Ł30,000 TOWARDS THE HAITI DISASTER APPEAL Following the devastating earthquake which took place in Haiti on Tuesday 12th January 2010, the President of the Freemasons' Grand Charity has approved two emergency grants totalling Ł30,000.
